I spent some time mostly driving around the farm fields in the Centralia, Chehalis, and Adna areas, with a couple of walks on the Willipa Hills Trail. I started at Goodrich Rd. where I had
2 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE
14 AMERICAN WIGEON
28 GREEN-WINGED TEAL
1 BALD EAGLE
10 AMERICAN PIPITS

The I went out Lincoln Creek Rd.where I had
1 NORTHERN HARRIER
3 AMERICAN KESTRELS
1 RED-TAILED HAWK
10 MOURNING DOVES

>From here I headed over to Bunker Creek Rd. and the fields just outside Adna had a nice flock of gulls. The mix included MEW, CALIFORNIA, RING-BILLED, and GLAUCOUS-WINGED. On the wires I had 1 MERLIN and 4 EURASIAN-COLLARED DOVES.

A walk on the Willipa Hills Trail accessed at Diekman Rd. produced some good birds. Here I had
225 CACKLING GEESE (3 geese in the flock were slightly bigger, longer necked, ans small billed like a Richardson's Goose. I don't know if we get that subspecies out here, but they sure looked like it.)

My next walk on the Willipa Hills Trail accessed at Shorey Rd. produced
1 RED-TAILED HAWK
1 WESTERN SRUB-JAY
1 RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET
6 YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS
1 SPOTTED TOWHEE
1 GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW
10 WESTERN MEADOWLARKS

Later, a drive down Big Hanaford Rd. produced
14 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE
GADWLL
AMERICAN WIGEON
3 CANVASBACK
RING-NECKED DUCK
LESSER SCAUP
2 BALD EAGLE
1 NORTHERN HARRIER
3 RED-TAILED HAWK
2 AMERICAN KESTREL

And lastly on Little Hanaford Rd. I had
1 AMERICAN KESRTEL
1 COOPER'S HAWK
1 RED-TAILED HAWK
1 BELTED KINGFISHER
