My wife and I made the trip to Bellingham today and were rewarded at about 1 PM by constant good looks at the tropical kingbird at the footbridge across Whatcom Creek near York and State Sts., as described by many prior observers. It still was sallying from a cyclone fence behind the Mayflower Moving Co. HQ. The bird was very active and expending a lot of energy, but the weather was somewhat cool and I did not see many bugs in the air. One additional piece of information, the site is very accessible, and my wife could view it easily from her wheelchair. Thanks for those who found and shared the information on this bird!

We also drove to Blaine and found the two scrub jays near Drayton Harbor in the yard with a very nice landscaping/ bird feeder setup.
