Anita Richard sent me pix of a BARRED OWL perched in a tree outside her downtown office bldg, 2nd-story window yesterday, Mon, Nov 8. It was mobbed by crows in the morning, but finally the crows left. It perched in some remaining leaves in the maple tree all day.
Anita's office is at 2601 - 4th Ave, 3 blocks south of Seattle Center on 4th Ave. This city owl is not one of those plastic birds!
