Subject: [Tweeters] When are we going to stop reporting Scrub Jays?

Jile: in some very select neighbourhoods, they are becoming more
noticeable; I hesitate to say "abundant", even at the best of times.

I personally enjoy hearing about them, and would like to see them join the
other corvids and contingent at my feeders in such numbers that they
approach "boring". Not likely to happen for myself, as I enjoy "the trash
birds" as much as the rarities. In the meantime, I don't mind hearing about
their range change approaching my feeders year by year...

Besides, what is abundant in one location (juncos, as an example, are in my
yard year around) is rare to variable in others (close to puget sound, any
season except winter)... You can always ignore reports for birds (or
people) for whom you have no interest... Myself? It's been a while since
anyone or any thing annoyed me that much on this list (grin)...
