I think I took a picture of that same hawk on October 1st. It was near the T before you get to West90.

Subject: [Tweeters] Beak Deformity study



I had read the story on the beak deformity after we saw this redtail at the west 90 (Skagit) area last weekend. I didn't notice it when I was taking the picture but we did when we got home. It does have a deformed upper beak. I looked at the bill up close and it doesn't look like it has any damage or injuries. Here's a picture off the bird:

I'll submit the information and send them a picture. I hope to get some follow-up information from the study.
