Hi Tweets....After finding two on the golf course over the past two weeks
(too far for photographs) I finally found one of the Snow Geese today fairly
close but it is either deformed or suffered some injury to its left "elbow"
joint. The leg from the joint down is bent back up along its side...above
the horizontal. It hops awkwardly while feeding and drinking but seems to
fly without trouble. I cannot imagine it surviving, but it is in the company
of about 30 Greater White-fronted Geese (great warning system) and they stay
out in the open fields to avoid hidden predators.

If anyone wants to see the photo e-mail me offline and I will send it,
either 3mb or tell me if you want it smaller.
