Hi Tweeters,

This might have been posted already though I couldn't find any reports at least a few days back. This afternoon a friend and I observed a Western Scrub Jay caching a nut (an acorn I believe) in the grass as we turned into the parking lot. The bird kept picking up the nut and repositioning it multiple times. I love watching corvids cache things. This is the first time I have seen a scrub jay in this part of Seattle. A gorgeous bird!
