Hey Tweets!

Got out to a couple of spots this morning in South King County. The first highlight was an American Bittern flushing from the reeds at the retention pond off of 212th street in Kent. The second was a White-throated Sparrow off of 287th in Kent. (actually at the dead end of 59th...follow the sounds of chickens!) A bright bird to see on a gray day! No swans that I could find this morning, but lots of Canada and Cacklers out on the fields, and the Pintails are still out on the flooded fields at 204th.
