Subject: [Tweeters] Edmonds Roundup

A personal matter sharply restricted my birding for the last three
weeks. I finally managed to wander around Edmonds this afternoon
(11-14-10). Hopefully, the resident birds I mention will not offend
anyone since the Western Scrub Jay is not among them. (Two were in
Edmonds in September but none of us reported them.) In addition to
the birds listed below, Ted Peterson let me know about some good
public pier sightings this week: two BROWN PELICANS (11-10-10);
thirty ANCIENT MURRELETS (11-12-10); one SHORT-TAILED SHEARWATER
(11-12-10). Such great birds pulled me towards the water even though
I knew I wasn't going to see them.
