Hi again Tweeters -

We have friends w/ a Long Eared owl nest in Mattawa, WA. Apparently, the tree the nest was in blew over. There is an adjacent tree w/ a nest in it. They are wondering if there is anything they should/could do. Would the owls use this nest - apparently they do not build their own but use nests built by other birds. The owls are around.

If there are any suggestions/information I can provide from any Master Birders out there, they would be thrilled. They would probably even be open to visitors.

Would appreciate any input anyone could provide.
