Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday November 18. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls

The Seaside PAINTED BUNTING continues to be seen at the Seaside Mill Ponds.
The YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER at the EE Wilson SWA remains near the area
headquarters. On November 14 a CATTLE EGRET was near Grants Pass.

On November 14 a LONG-TAILED DUCK was at Brookings. A late TREE SWALLOW was
seen November 11 at the mouth of the Siuslaw River. On November 16 heavy
migrations of loons, scoters, shearwaters, and FULMARS were seen off Boiler
Bay. An adult FRANKLIN?S GULL was also seen there that day. A flock of over
100 GREAT EGRETS was north of Tillamook November 16.

On November 16 six SURF SCOTERS were on the Willamette River north of the
Fremont Bridge in Portland, and a WHITE-WINGED SCOTER and nine SURF SCOTERS
were on the Columbia River off Hayden Island. A late RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD was
in Portland November 16. That day a MOCKINGBIRD was at the EE Wilson SWA.
Another MOCKINGBIRD was in Eugene November 11. On November 13 a SNOW BUNTING
was on Marys Peak near Philomath. Two VULTURES were near Lorane November 15.

On November 17 a HARRIS?S SPARROW was in Bend. Four SURF SCOTERS were on
Suttle Lake November 13. Two WHITE-WINGED SCOTERS and eight SURF SCOTERS
were at Wickiup Reservoir the same day. On November 11 2056 BONAPARTE?S
GULLS were at Klamath Falls.
