Yeah, I recall an incident at Fort Huachuca, AZ, where a migrating male Rufous Hummingbird discovered one of my two feeders and completely dominated it for a few days; chasing the other hummers away.

Hi Birders,

This fall I have had at least three Anna's Hummers coming to my
feeders, two juveniles and an adult female. This past week an adult
male has become a regular customer. Since he started visiting
regularly, I've hardly seen anything of the other hummingbirds that
used to come. I'd like to hear from others if they have had similar
experiences of an adult male hummingbird completely taking over a
feeder to the virtual exclusion of the others.
