We know this has been about Anna's but It brings back memories of aggressive Rufous males in years past.

Pre cable we had a TV antenna on the roof ridge down the center of our home. We had a feeder in front and one in the back to give everyone a chance as some have mentioned here.

Many times we laughed at our folly as we watched a male Rufous guard both feeders with ease from his perch on the antenna.
