Tweets,
Yesterday while walking up Swan Creek in Tacoma looking for chum salmon my wife and I watched a Dipper forage. I was surprised to see one within the city limits. I haven't seen one there before. It was hanging out by the first bridge you get to on the trail. There are also some salmon in the Creek.

I've seen and heard a pair of Ravens in Pt. Defiance since June. Again, perhaps not that surprising since there are some on the other side of the Narrows and on Vashon, but they are the first I've seen in Tacoma. I haven't heard them during the past month.

And yet another historical scrub jay report. I saw my first scrub jay in Tacoma in June 1997 at N. 21st and Proctor.

Best,
