Last weekend, 3 of us birded the Willapa Bay area. Would like to thank Ruth Sullivan for suggested birding stops.

Bottle Beach yield 2,000+ Western Sandpiper, 40+ Black-bellied Plovers and 1 American Golden Plover.

At Tokeland we 100+ Marbled Godwit, 1 Willet and 1 Bar-tailed Godwit.

Near Raymond (despite the snow storm) we found Canada, Cackling, Snow and Greater White-fronted Geese. At another stop we found 5 Trumpeter Swans.

On the North jetty of the Columbia River, we observed about 50 Brown Pelicans.
