Found this bird today, 11/26/10, and viewed it from about 10:40 to 11 AM.
It allowed fairly close approach, while I was in my car, near the locked
gate on the road in the location described by Michael Woodruff (see below).
Vesper Sparrow was in loose association with 3 Song Sparrows, 2 Varied
Thrush and one Hermit Thrush. Thanks to Michael for initial posting.
