My husband Joseph and his friend David went fishing on the Sauk River
near Darrington today, and, as they were driving, David saw what he said
was a really big white owl with some black spots fly across the river.
Joseph didn't see it. There are cottonwoods along the river there, but
the area is mostly open. I thought I would pass this on in case anyone
is birding up that way.
