Had a wonderful pair of male Anna's today "sparring" at our feeders. Went on for several minutes - like two magnets opposing each other, or the figures in a cuckoo clock dancing. One finally was able to "own" the feeder.

Also have been seeing a hermit thrush the last couple of days, along with continued visitations from the varied thrushes today. Anything I can provide to entice them to hang around?
