Thanksgiving day Krista Wilson and I went to Ridgefield NWR. On our first trip around we saw the SNOW BUNTING sitting in the road where he had been reported. On our second trip around, the bird was gone. A gentleman waiting in his car said the bird had flown away and had been gone about an hour. Krista and I drove ahead underneath the Oak trees and found a SHARP-SHINNED HAWK sitting in the tree.
