Tweeters,

We observed the Acorn Woodpecker at Magnuson Park from 7:25-8am. Greg
Thompson arrived just before we left to continue the watch. The parking lot
is the Transit park and ride lot and the oak trees ring the lot; many are
fairly small trees. The Acorn Woodpecker is taking acorn from trees on all
sides of the parking lot. It then flies to SE as Gene described. There's a
snag just South where it sometimes perches; as well as lamp posts in the
area. We arrived at 6:40am and initially heard the Acorn Woodpecker
vocalizing as it came in; but we did not hear it vocalize again.
