Tweeters,

Although Western Scrub-Jays have been in Kent valley and Ballard for a
number of years now. First nesting record for S. King Co. was summer of
1994 in Enumclaw.

Seeing one in our yard for the first time on Sept 25, '10, and then again on
Oct. 1, '10, was surprising.

Marymoor Park had its initial sighting of this species in August 2009; per
the web site.

I don't believe there have been any additional sightings yet. Although this
bird in our neighborhood is very close to the park.
