Both of these birds are additions to the 2010 County Checklist and code 5 birds in Clark County. I wouldn't mind either of those birds for my yard list.

Tweeters,At 4:15 this morning, a LONG-EARED OWL called 4x from the trees beyond the seasonally wet area beyond my deck. I think it was calling yesterday morning as well but I wasn't sure at the time. In addition, at 10:05 this morning through 10:25, a PALM WARBLER was feeding on the ground in the same seasonally wet area 15 feet beyond my deck in Battle Ground, Clark County. Both birds were new yard birds, county birds and state birds!Jim
