Hi Tweets,

Somebody steal the convergence zone? Today's predicted rain has not
made an appearance in Edmonds. It has been a lovely morning to look
for birds. Of interest was a first of season drake Black Scoter
flying by the public pier, followed by two more on the water north of
the ferry dock. Of a little greater interest was the Western
Meadowlark clinging to a snag along Willow Creek and seen from the
Point Edwards public path. It was a light brown blob on the snag, as
seen through binoculars. Then as we approached the small pond at the
end of the path, it headed south, flying right in front of us for a
good close look. No terns were seen this morning.
