Kennewick
The LCBAS bird walk identified over 35 birds on their First Saturday walk.
Along with the regular species, the more interesting were MERLINS, a RED NECKED
PHALAROPE, lots of DOWITCHERS, some GREATER YELLOWLEGS, BLACK BELLIED PLOVERS,
a STILT, BELTED KINGFISHERS, and a DOWNY WODPECKER. The wigeons, ruddy ducks
and shovelers are starting to get their fall color, very neat to see.
