Hi Tweets...I do not recommend trying to see the last of the fall migration
on the Oyehut Game Range in Ocean Shores as waterfowl hunting begins the
16th, this Saturday, and continues through the 28th. I have been out there
checking the "pond", which is now a very large pond, and have seen
Sanderling, dowitchers, Marbled Godwits, heard a Greater Yellowlegs today,
and saw many ducks and geese, but also had Peregrines, Bald Eagles and
Northern Harriers hunting too.

On the other hand, once the firing begins the golf course and fresh
waterways host lots of geese and ducks! I saw 67 Greater White-fronted Geese
on the golf course yesterday (Wed) behind the Gitchee Gumee Condos and the
new fire station.
