I was out last night around Renton Park, hooting it up to see if I could get a response from a Great Horned Owl - no luck there, but I got a brief but distinctive response from a Northern Saw-whet Owl! I know it's not the time of year for active calling for most species, but was wondering what kind of luck people in Tweeterland have with owling in the fall.
