Tweets,
Steve Caldwell and I spent several hours trying to relocate the Long-tailed Jaeger reported several days ago by Brad Waggoner at Point No Point. We did find at least three Jaegers, quite far out...but concluded mostly by bill size that they were Parasitic Jaegers. One of these birds was a juvenile sitting on the water with quite a light gray head and little apparent cinammon wash on the upper body. However, the bill seemed too long and we concluded it was another Parasitic. We had several Marbled Murrelets along with a mix of the common alcids. Not being regular visitors to Point No Point, we were surprised to find a dozen Eurasian Collared Doves hanging about in the Point No Point Village area.
