I walked out to the Woodard Bay Natural Resources Conservation Area today with my daughter Cally.? Species seen included my first Bufflehead of the season, Common Goldeneye, several dozen Horned Grebe, Common Loon, 100+ Surf Scoters, 2 Greater Yellowlegs in winter plumage, lots of Harbor Seals at their usual basking spot, and several more of the usual suspects.
