Saw the first wigeon of the season, a male, on Oct 3 at the Lakewood Marina (foot of Genesee St at Lake Washington Blvd). On Oct 10 a pair was present and on Oct 20 there were 6.

Flocks of American wigeons have been showing up the past two days at the Edmonds marsh. Their squeaks sound like a child's rubber ducky bath tub squeeze toy. I have also seen them flying south past Sunset Ave. towards the marsh around sunset.
