Hello,

I took a quick trip into Stevens County this afternoon specfically checking
lakes for scoters and loons. This is what I found:

Lake Spokane (Tum Tum): female RED BREASTED MERGANSER, Common Loon, Western
Grebe

Waitt's Lake: female WHITE WINGED SCOTER, Red-necked Grebe, Common Loon,
Bonaparte's Gull

Valley STP: Bufflehead (100),Barrow's Goldeneye

Farm to Market Rd: Rough-legged Hawk, flyover SANDHILL CRANES (3 - county
lifer)

Deer Lake: male and female SURF SCOTER, Greater Scaup, Horned Grebe, Common
Loon, Clark's Nutcrackers (large flocks - everywhere)
