Hi, Tweets

Today, 4 September, is global Vulture Awareness Day, so be sure and
look up! With the weather like it is, they should be flying low . . .
or sitting in trees. I also include, for those interested, a link to
Indian and other vulture species (be sure to go through the whole
group, there are some really neat ones sent by an Indian
photographer):

As to swifts, just a note for those visiting the Wagner School. The
swifts are there and go into the chimney rain or shine. Hopefully it
will clear a bit by this evening, but should it rain, there is enough
parking for several cars along the street. The view of the chimney is
good from there. The parking lot is mostly a view of the roofs, no
chimney, except for where we park to count. The first night there
about a year ago, the police stopped to see what we were doing since
we were parked at a weird angle.

Cheers, Diann
