Hi Tweets,

JoLynn Edwards and I are doing some coastal birding for the next week or so. Started yesterday at the OS game range an hour after peak high tide. Good numbers and variety of usual shorebirds; Stilt Sandpiper still present but did not find Ruff. Got out there today two hours before high tide and found Ruff right away. It foraged openly in full view from the Tonquin side until we left two hours later. Stilt Sandpiper came and went. Zilch at sewage ponds or on game range accessed from that side. No passerine migrants to speak of either day at various spots in and around OS or at Hoquiam ponds.
