This afternoon at 4 p.m. I found and photographed a Pectoral Sandpiper in the flooded field on SR 261 at Mile Post 6, just south of Starbuck. This is a Columbia County First Record, as I understand. The little flooded area has yielded 4 other County Firsts this migration, all found by Matt Bartels. Lucky I beat him to the spot this afternoon!
