Beautiful dark-morph RED-TAILED HAWK (juv.) in tree on w. side of road n. of blind. Group of seven TURKEY VULTURES, presumably migrating, perched in two trees near e. edge of N. Quigley Lake before sun warmed air for uplift. Gorgeous PURPLE FINCH male in mixed flock at Kiwa Trail "hairpin."
