My apology for unfinished report. Battery in my iPod refused to continue.
On Saturday evening, at about 5.00 p.m. there was a Buff-breasted Sandpiper at Oyhut WRA, which I accessed through the Tonquin Av. SW trail. It flew in with a flock of Least and Western Sandpipers but after 10 minutes it was spooked by one very bored Peregrine falcon. Then, an hour later, the same thing happened again so, I believe the bird is still there, hiding in the grass. This was exactly at the spot where the Mongolian Plover was found before. There are actually three peregrines working this place. Is there any way to tell them that the cowbirds taste better ?
Other than that, on the way home near the gate, I found a nice Scope. On the tripod. I know, it happened to me before. Please, email privately. I will be happy to ship it or arrange meeting.
See you in the field.
