Heather and I spent some time hiking in the Eaglecap Wilderness Area of the Wallowa Mountains Of NE Oregon. It is a spectacular set of granitic mountains, with chains of quite photogenic lakes to hike to and explore. On the way back we hit some of the Eastern WA migrant traps.

Saturday, September 11th:

SPRAGUE LAKE - Sprague Lake Resort and the Lincoln County fishing access where quite alive with 100's of Yellow-rumped Warblers. The only other warbler were an Orange-crowned and a Common Yellowthroat, along with a Western Tanager for interest.
