Subject: [Tweeters] Says Phoebe at Kent Ponds

There was a very cooperative Say's Phoebe at the Kent Ponds this morning. I don't believe I have ever seen one there before. Strictly speaking this was accross the street from the Kent Ponds. If you follow the power line trail east accross 64th Avenue South, it passes along the south side of a meadow. The Phoebe was flycatching from a downed log lying in the meadow perhaps 50 yards east of 64th Avenue South. Some other good birds there included a couple Western Scrub Jays (which have been present in the area for several years now) and five Northern Pintails. I could not find that I had any previous records of Pintails at the Kent Ponds in September.
