Subject: [Tweeters] Not Poaching on Oyehut Game Range

Washington has an Early Goose season, to try to control the exploding
non-migratory Canada Goose population. It ends Sept. 15. We had to share the
Skagit Game Range with one such goose hunter who told us to "Get Down!," when a
flock of geese came by. We ruined his shot.

Subject: [Tweeters] Poaching on Oyehut Game Range

Hello again, Tweets:

I checked the WDFW web site and found the waterfowl hunting season has NOT
begun...even the Youth Season isn't until Sept 25th & 26th. So I reported it
on their enforcement site as a poaching, letting them know there are several
people who will be out there on Monday looking for migrant shorebirds
(hopefully the young man will be in school). I also mentioned many people
have visited the game range in the last 30+ days and we hate to think any
will go away disappointed thanks to this illegal activity.
