We saw 2 Common Terns just before 5 PM on the log last night at Vancouver Lake State Park. At Rutners Pond there were 24 Great Egrets, at least a dozen or more Greater Yellowlegs, a few Lesser Yellowleggs and one maybe two Pectoral Sandpipers. My husband thought he might have seen a Sharp-tailed Sandpiper working close the the edge of pond next to the road (there is grass along the edge) but we couldn't relocate the bird at all.

I received a call from Randy Hill he had found 3 common terns at Vancouver lake, Vancouver Lk State Park. They were on the floating logs along the shoreline. I went a few hours ago and they were still there as he reported.
