I think Ned is onto something.

One of my fondest memories was a night baseball game at the old Texas
Ranger's ballpark in Arlington about 20 to 25 years ago. It was my first
sighting of Scissor-tailed Flycatchers. They were feasting on the bugs in
the lights. With my binos, I could see the "moth dusts" puffing off of the
moths as the flycatchers caught them. It went on the entire came once it
got dark.

I haven't noticed this at Safeco Field. Only the gills that show up late
in the game waiting for the people to leave to pick up the scraps. I always
wonder how they know the game is almost over - - - - - -
