Tyler,
The closest to Vancouver/Portland, White-headed Woodpeckers that I know of are found in the pines along the entrance road to the Conboy NWR near Glenwood, in Klickitat County.

Hello all,

My father is visiting in early October and I'd like to do a day trip from sw. Washington to find White-headed Woodpecker. Are there any locations reliable for White-headed Woodpecker that are a reasonable daytrip from Vancouver/Portland?

Cheers,

Tyler
