Birdfest and Bluegrass Festival is fast approaching, Oct 8,9&10. There are still guided trips available. There are two Kiwa Trail walks and five sandhill crane viewing tours available. The crane viewing occurs in the closed area in a viewing blind where participants will watch cranes entering or leaving their roost. This is not a trip for cameras, because of the light conditions, and bright clothing should be avoided. If you want a show with cranes flying overhead with all the sounds this one is for you.
