Dana and Tweeters,

The last time I heard and photographed a Raven in Lincoln Park was on Feb 28, 2010. The previous time was about a year before (Jan 14 2009). Hopefully you got lucky! I'll be especially attentive for raven quorks on my walks these days....not that they're easy to miss.

I haven't heard one recently, but there was one hanging around this area maybe late winter-early spring. I'll see if I can dig up a photo from that time to confirm the date. It seems (or they seem) to come around once a year or so.

Was I "hearing things", or was I hearing a raven?

While on a walk in the Fauntlee Hills neighborhood, between
Fauntleroy and Lincoln Parks last tuesday (9/14/10) I think I heard
the call of a Raven, I remember someone mentioning seeing a Raven in
Lincoln Park sometime in the last 12-18 months. Could it be hanging
around again? anyone else seen/heard one of these corbin friends?
