Subject: [Tweeters] Snow Geese, not Ross's Geese, at Skagit WMA

Tweeters,

The two white geese seen on Sept. 19 at the Skagit Wildlife Area near Conway
were apparently juvenile Snow Geese, not Ross's Geese. In a private message,
Maxine Reid sent me photos of the birds, which she saw and photographed at
very close range.

At least one early Snow Goose has also showed up near Victoria, BC. The
hordes should be here within 3-4 weeks.
