Tweeters,
Made a quick run on Ridgefield NWR River S loop this morning. Lots of activity and commotion on the marsh with harriers and peregrine falcons keeping the birds on their toes.
Highlights were as follows:
Sandhill Cranes - 6
Greater White-fronted Geese - ~ 20
Long-billed Dowitcher - ~30
Yellowlegs - a couple dozen of both flavors
Western Sandpiper - 7
Pectoral Sandpiper - 3
SHARP-TAILED SANDPIPER - 1 very rufous juvenile hanging out with the Pectoral
MARBLED GODWIT - 1
Cheers,
Tyler
