Hi,

Marv Breece and I had what is sometimes termed as a "good day'

We started at Whidbey Island and found a Stilt Sandpiper from the dike accessed from Sunlight Beach Drive - near Freeland.
It was in amongst 50 Dowitchers, including at least several Short-billed. There was a also a bright Pectoral Sandpiper.

Along Maupin Road on Fir Island we found 4 Greater White-fronted Geese - probably Tule sub-species, two adults and two Juveniles.

At the Skagit Game Range we relocated the juvenile Ruff in the 2nd Pond. Did not look for the Black Phoebe or see the Sharp-tailed
Sandpiper.

We were alerted by a phone call from Maxine Reid telling about the 2 Lewis's Woodpeckers at Tulalip. They were both present at
dusk.

It doesn't get much better.

Cheers, Steve
