While watching and admiring the dipping/gliding of numerous Northern
Harriers along the Samish Flats this evening, I spied 2 Sandhill Cranes in a
field just SE of Sullivan Road (this road intersects w/Bayview-Edison Road,
just South of the "T" with Samish Island Road). A friend and I watched them
for over an hour as they foraged in the field; quite delightful to see them
here.
