Tweets, Sunday I saw a Caspian Tern fly westward over Yelm Hwy near
Olympia/Lacey border & Indian Summer Country Club. A new sight for me, a
tern this far inland around here, but I believe Bob Sundstrom observed a
small flock of Caspians in the fall moving westward fairly low over Scatter
Creek outside Tenino. He surmised these were inland birds in migration
overland heading to the coast on their way south. Good birding!
