Greetings,
I spend a lot of time looking at crows. Maybe more than I should.
Last week I noticed and photographed a crow with a lesion in front of it's right eye and lesions on it's feet, I thought little of it and figured I would get back to the photo later. Today I noticed and photographed a second crow with lesions on it's face and right leg. One was in Lakewood and the other in DuPont. They are about five miles apart (pardon the pun) as the crow flies. The one in DuPont was about five blocks from where I photographed the cross billed crow earlier this month.
Am I missing something here? Is this common? Below are links to my Flickr photos of these birds.
