Hi Mike and Tweeters,



Where Kenn screwed up was not incorporating traditional Native American aspects of dance in his routine.? On a trip through the Black Hills of South Dakota a few years ago, we stopped at the Crazy Horse memorial (a must-see if you are in the area) which has a spectacular Native American museum with artisans and performers there on most days during the tourist season.? We saw a Lakota Sioux dancer do a traditional dance in full regalia that was based entirely on the display of the Prairie-Chicken, completely with the 'taxi-to-the-runway'?moves the males?do.



And the above, whether you believe it or not, is not a date-sensitive comment - it is accurate.? It was quite a performance to watch, especially having seen the actual birds displaying.? Clearly the Lakota and the birds coexisted in close contact over their history.
